Machine parts are aging. And are sometimes no longer available, calling for a machine upgrade. Such was the case at Elopak, which supplies and maintains machines for filling cardboard beverage containers. With the upgrade of several machines, the company also had the Mitsubishi control technology modified, relying on AvezA. Not without reason, says Gerard van Willegen, technical manager at Elopak.
"AvezA is fully experienced in Mitsubishi. As a result, the team knows very well what a project like ours requires. The engineers think along, are solution-oriented, and have a no-nonsense attitude - just like us. They also prepare very well, which prevents a lot of delays later on. Thinking in terms of problems is not an issue at AvezA; instead, the engineers constantly look for possible solutions. They argue their points well, with a critical view that extends beyond just their own assignment. Knowing why you do something, being sharp on the end result - that's the only way to contribute to a successfully completed project."
